22 May 2022 the chosen nine organisations were selected for interaction with Hon'ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji  at Golden Pagoda. The RIWATCH was one of them. Every organisation briefed him about thier activities and future plans. He appreciated the contribution of NGOs in preserving, nurturing and promoting the cultural heritage of the region. He said the Govt. of India will be ever willing to support such initiatives. The RIWATCH had an opportunity to present a photo of Idu Mishmi textiles GI registration.
