The Centre for Mother Languages (RCML), under RIWATCH, successfully completed a field study from 14 to 31 July 2025 to document the oral traditions of the Aka, Sherdukpen, and Sajolang communities in Arunachal Pradesh. Conducted in Bichom and West Kameng districts, the study focused on preserving endangered folktales, oral histories, and linguistic heritage. The initiative aims to support indigenous language revitalization through the publication of illustrated folktale books and educational resources.
