On October 29, a landmark initiative to promote the Igu-Tamro Institution, which preserves the shamanistic practices of the Idu Mishmi community, was officially launched at the Mipi Pene Centre in Roing and Koronu. Supported by the International Centre for Cultural Studies (ICCS) Bharat, this significant endeavor is a collaborative effort between the Research Institute of World’s Ancient Traditions, Cultures, and Heritage (RIWATCH) and the Idu Mishmi Cultural and Literary Society (IMCLS).
